Friendly Turtle looks at product-specific information rather than applying the same sustainability claim to every item.

What we consider

Where information is available, we consider materials and ingredients, packaging, durability and reusability, manufacturing and sourcing information, relevant certifications, and the practical lower-impact benefit a product may offer compared with a conventional alternative.

Product claims vary

Not every product is plastic-free, vegan, cruelty-free, organic, locally made or independently certified. These attributes vary by brand and product, so the individual product page is the most specific source for the item you are considering.
