- Who can use Clearpay & Afterpay?
Clearpay is accessible solely to permanent residents of the UK aged 18 and above (excluding the Channel Islands) with a UK billing address. Individuals with international billing addresses are ineligible to utilize Clearpay or establish a Clearpay account. Additional eligibility criteria are applicable. Refer to the Clearpay Terms of Service for more comprehensive information.
- How does the Clearpay payment schedule operate?
Clearpay divides the total cost of your order into four installments, which are to be paid every two weeks. The specific amounts and dates will be presented for your agreement prior to confirming your purchase. If you wish to submit extra unscheduled payments before their due dates, you can log into your Clearpay account to make early payments, and Clearpay will adjust the outstanding amount accordingly. At any time, you can access your Clearpay account to review your payment schedule or make a payment before the upcoming due date.
- What should I do if I am unable to pay a Clearpay installment?
If you are unable to make a payment, please contact Clearpay [here]. In the event of a missed payment, Clearpay will immediately suspend your ability to make any further purchases with Clearpay. You will have until 11 pm on the following day to complete your repayment, and if the payment is not made by then, a late fee will be incurred. The initial late fee is £6, with an additional £6 fee if the missed payment persists for 7 days. If the total order is less than £24, the late fee will be £6. For orders of £24 or more, the total late fees will not exceed 25% of the total order value or £24, whichever is lower. Unsettled Clearpay debt may be referred to a debt collection agency, impacting your future ability to use Clearpay. We urge you to use Clearpay responsibly. For more details, please refer to the Clearpay Terms of Service.
