Friendly Soaps Lavender & Geranium natural, plastic free shampoo bar is made with Castor oil and it has been used for centuries as a natural hair conditioner and scalp treatment. Combined with coconut oil and olive oil to produce a rich, moisturising, nourishing shampoo.

A long-lasting and compact alternative to plastic bottled liquid shampoos that will tame the most disobedient locks and promote healthy happy hair growth.

Essential oils of lavender and rose geranium are both favoured for their natural stress relieving qualities. While lavender also for its antibacterial properties. Each natural shampoo bar is handmade with Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Lavender and Rose Geranium essential oils, water. And nothing else.

All our plastic free soap bar are free from Palm Oil, Parabens, Sulphates, Triclosan, Phthalates and Cruelty, as well as being boxed in plastic-free recycled (and recyclable) packaging. Friendly Soap is also registered with The Vegan Society, Cruelty-Free International and have a Best rating with Ethical Consumer.

Having been a bit sceptical about trying out and eco-friendly shampoo, I was very pleasantly surprised indeed. It soon lathered up and felt just like I was using my usual non-eco-friendly shampoo. I didn’t need a second lather and after rinsing my hair felt squeaky clean. The first time I used it I didn’t use any conditioner so my hair understandably felt a little more tangled than usual when first brushing through, and, once dried it did seem a bit dry and dull, so the second time I used some of my usual conditioner and that made quite a difference. I am very happy with the shampoo and will continue to use it.

I had a few problems when I first started using it. I have found if I rub the bar between my hands, then apply the lather to my hair it rinses out better and my hair feels less greasy.

The result is so much better than from mass market shampoo! Will definitely recommend to use it with bar conditioner, as I am not sure if it is possible to brush your hair after only a soap bar.
